My name is Lori, and I am an English teacher. I also like to take pictures. It all started when I lived in Hawaii, where it seems like you can’t take a bad picture with all the beautiful scenery. I moved back to Wisconsin to marry my fiance and we soon had my daughter. As it turns out, I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her. And, as it also turns out, a lot of people really liked these pictures. So, people started asking me to take pictures of them, their kids, and their events. I have started this as a side hobby/funding for summer. I also really do love taking pictures.
Here’s how it works:
You get in contact with me via phone or email. I respond. We set up a time and place. I go to where you want me. I don’t have a studio, and Milwaukee is surrounded with so many beautiful places that I can’t even understand why someone would want to take pictures anywhere else. I meet you there for the photo shoot, and I get paid. I take the pictures. You smile. We say goodbye. Within two weeks I email or call you so you can look on the website to see your beautiful self on the web. You choose the photo you want for your freebie. I make a CD and order a print. You go home happy or order the whole dang photo shoot and go home happy. I buy something pretty for my daughter. We both win.
I’m very laid back. I will give as little or as much guidance while taking the photos as you want. I love doing things differently, so if you have a crazy idea or event you want photographed, let me know!
